Today  was ‘Blitz The Butt’ day so I did my bit! Angoulême, Bordeaux, Bordeaux airport, Liverpool airport, Manchester, Oldham. Au revoir and bye-bye bi-cultural butts! 😂

Car from Vaux Lavallette to Angoulême rail station, train to Bordeaux rail station, shuttle bus to Bordeaux airport, plane to Liverpool airport, service bus to Liverpool rail station, train to Manchester Victoria rail station, tram to Oldham, short walk home….a long trip made so worthwhile by this lovely young lady becoming my latest litter recruit on the final leg!

Angoulême. ‘Barricaded’ ancient city ‘besieged’ by modern problems!

The wonderful ‘The One Show’ camera crew responsible for promoting the #1PieceOfRubbiish campaign so creatively . Thank you, Nathan & Paddy, for a fun-filled afternoon of filming…..& for becoming 2 of my favourite ‘recruits’! You’re fantastic!

It was an exciting day! The BBC informed me that I was part of this evening’s ‘The One Show’ programme. An epic effort ensued to inform all my contacts of the pending film which was recorded 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately I’m on holiday in France and unable to access BBC tv, due to licensing laws, so I’ll probably be the last one to see it. C’est la vie! 😂

Vaux-Lavallette to Nabinaud to Laprade to Aubeterre. Beautiful places, beautifully clean but for tiny little bits…and butts!

Sunday is a day of rest so I’m chilling with my family in Vaux-Lavallette. No rubbish here in the middle of nowhere!!
