For the past 24 days of Lent I’ve ‘given up’ alcohol, cigarettes, & sugar but I’m now giving up ‘giving up’. I’m having a ‘rubbish’ 12 weeks’ rest but, Coronavirus willing, I’LL BE BACK! Stay safe everyone. You’re all very precious❣️

Roaming around England by free Bus Pass, picking up at least one piece of rubbish every day.

24th Day of Lent. Chucka ya Chupa Chups into da bin, ya Chump!

23rd Day Of Lent. Obviously insufficient sugar to BOOST the energy required to walk to a bin. Therefore……GIVE IT UP!

22nd Day Of Lent. Take ‘Time Out’ to go for a walk, enjoy some fresh air, pick up a piece of rubbish and ‘give it up’ …..to the bin!

21st Day Of Lent. OK Smartie-pants! Next time get your sugar rush to rush you to the bin….then ‘give it up’!

What a weird world it is when cosying up to rubbish is safer than cosying up to relatives!
Maybe encourage all those fit over-70s you know to go for a walk ON THEIR OWN & pick up as they go along. Posting pics of their pickings would help to keep some form of social interaction.

19th Day of Lent. Yummy Gummy, bad for your tummy? ‘Given up’…..to the bin!

18th Day Of Lent. ‘Giving up’ sugar turns out to be less important than ‘giving up ‘social contact! 😥
16th Day of Lent. Smoking clogs your arteries… &, in some cases, your ability to ‘give up’ the packet to the bin!

15th day of Lent. Smoking damages your teeth and gums and your discarded packets damage the environment so, whoever you are, why not ‘give it up’ for your health and ‘give up’ the package to the bin? Hmmm?
